Web Mission 08

Short Fuze Limited, the Cambridge-based start-up which produces Moviestorm - the award winning user-generated content package enabling consumers to create their own movies in 15 minutes - has been selected to participate in "Web Mission 08", a chance to visit San Francisco and Silicon Valley to explore further business opportunities there.

David Bailey, CEO of Short Fuze, commented, "It is a great honour to be selected by the industry and our peers as one of the top digital start-ups in the country, and to participate in Web Mission 08. We'll be using this opportunity to seek new business partners for Moviestorm, and to establish a base for ourselves in this critical market."

Web Mission's Oli Barret added, "We are delighted to welcome Short Fuze to the Web Mission delegation. All industry indications are that video-driven user-generated content such as Moviestorm will be a key ingredient in the growth of web applications, and British talent is in the forefront of this market."

Web Mission delegates will be visiting several leading Silicon Valley companies and financial institutions, as well as attending the world-famous Web 2.0 Expo during the week-long visit.
